Iris is Becoming a Speedster

It is confirmed that Iris is going to become a speedster in episode 16 of Flash season 4. Team Flash is going to encounter a new bus meta called Matthew aka Melting Pot. Melting Pot has the ability to switch peoples DNA around, so Barry gets his DNA switch with Iris and so she becomes the new Flash. So now Barry has to stay behind and watch from the side lines while Iris is out facing a new threat to Central City. I would like to see this speedster Iris for a least more than one episode but i don't think they will do that because then that will take away from Flash vs Devoe story.
